SAILORS 1 FRIEND SOCIETY
There was a splendid attendance at Miss Tolar-Curtis's concert at the Sailors' Frdend Society last night. A feature of the evening was the dialogue "Foiled," by the Misses Tolar-Curtis and M'Carthy and Messrs. Knowles, L. Foster, and Sever. ' The men from the ships and the boys of the.Amokura received this and the choice items of music with applause. The performers were Madame Mueller and Misses V. Mueller and M. Dimock, and Messrs. Powell, Clarke, Hawkins, Lane, and Portere. Miss Paul was the accompanist Light refreshments were handed round in an interval. The competitions were a source of merriment. Mr. Moore, missioner, moved the vote of fiianks, which was carried. ' .
