KEEN DEMAND FOR PORK.

The New Zealand Fanners' Co-opera-tive Distributing Company reports to-day that table potatoes are in exceptionally short supply, and prices are showing an upward tendency. Oats are * being enquired for, with high prices ruling. Maize is not over plentiful. Ryegrass and cocksfoot is in demand, with rates still high. Fowl wheat realises high values, with limited offerings. Pork is in very short supply, and any lines offering are being readily snapped up. Eggs are more plentiful, with prices a bit easier. Honey in bulk is at the moment in slior* supply.

Celery is not conning forward too freely, and satisfactory prices are being realised. Leekl are still in fair supply, with quotations firm. Artichokes are not at the moment over-plentiful, with prices slightly advanced. •
