PROTESTANT POLITICAL ASSOCIATION
Fullford's Hall, Brooklyn, ■ was well filled last evening, when a public meeting was held, under the auspices of the Protestant Political Association. • Mr.. J. Aston, J.P., presided. Stirring addresses were delivered by Mrs. Johnston Wright and Rev. G. Knowles Smith. Resolutions were carried, unanimously, dealing with the Feilding assault case, and "That this meeting of residents of Brooklyn, realising the need for organised effort on behalf of Protestant ideals and principles, hereby resolves to form a branch of the Protestant Political Association." Miss Snelling, Miss Cooley, and Mr. Pickett contributed musical items, Mrs. Coventry presiding at the piano. The meeting "opened and closed by singing the National Anthem.
