QUEEN'S THEATRE.
The present attractive programme now showing at the Queen's Theatre, Cubastreet, continues to draw large and enthusiastic attendances. The star feature is a Bluebird-, star comedy-drama, in which the merriment is contagious. Franklyn Farnum and Miss Brownie Vernon are the leaders of a fine cast of players,- who make it their object to squeeze a hearty laugh out of every moment they are seen in the play, except when the story takes a serious turn, or at: some big dramatic moment. The onlookers realise, when the play ia over, that if the young lover had only been a more punctual man, and less given to society gambols, all the incidents could not have happened, but they are glad he was not. The supporting programme is surprisingly good, and contains no fewer than five pleasing subjects.
