PARAMOUNT THEATRE.

Tie triple-attraction programme at the Paramount Theatre has resulted in good business at this favourite house of entertainment. Jack Pickford, in "The Varmint," has won golden opinions for his originality. The play is one containing an appeal to young and old alike, interesting the former and recalling happy memories of school days for the latter. "The Pullman' Bride," featuring Mack Sennett, is a comedy of excellent quality, brimful of laughter,, and an excellent antidote to gloom. The first Burton Holmes travelogue, "West Point, the Gibraltar of the Hudson," and the American Gazette, are also shown.
