LITTLE UNEMPLOYMENT
Now that the holiday period is ended, the Government Labour Bureaux are receiving more applications from men seeking work. No difficulty whatever is experienced in placing men who are»willing to take labouring work in the. country districts, and the: amount of what might be termed legitimate unemployment is negligible. 'Men who insist on remaining in the towns are .not so readily provided for, as the unsettlement consequent on the holidays still obtains in a small measure.
