Notwithstanding the' rough night, there was a good attendance at the an-.! nual general meeting of the Evans Bay Swimming Club_ last evening. Mr. C. Bott presided. ; ... ! The. balance-sheet showed that th« club is now in a very satisfactory position, its assets amounting to £69 4s lOd, including £23 Is lOd cash in hand.
