'A SURPRISING ASSERTION.
(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATIONSSYDNEY, 30th January. Alderman Auburn, speaking at the Municipal Council in support of a resolution of protest against daylight saving, advanced a surprising assertion.,. He said that statistics showed that *there had been an increase in immorality, red plague, and illegitimacy since the introduction of the Early Closing 1 Act.
