STATE SOCIALISM
IMPLIED IN RECENT DEVELOPMENTS.
(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 29th January. Sir Stan' Jameson, replying to the objection that the Empire Resources Development Committee's proposals implied State Socialism, said: "We have been tending that way since before the war. It will be necessary to see that State Socialism, with its proper label, takes the j'igrht direction. It would bo hopeless to make a Development Committee out of the existing Civil Service Committee. It ■must consist of captains of industry."
