TROUBLE ABOUT HER NEWSPAPER. (BNIISD PRESS ASSOCIATION.—c'IPYJINi'n.) (Received August 17, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, 16th August. In the House of Commons Mr. Austen Chamberlain (Secretary for India) stated that Mrs. Annie Besant has been required by the Indian Government to give security for the newspaper The New Idea, owing to articles of a disaffected nature which have appeared in it.
