WIMMERA FROM MELBOURNE

The Wimmera finisließ a smart passage of 109 hours 45 minutes from Melbourne tc Wellington, when she arrived at 5.20 a.m. to-day. The vessel left Melbourne at 1.55 p.m. on Saturday. The weather was good, and moderate to light south-west to south breezes and calm seas. The average speed was 33.7 knots The Wimmera brought 700 tons of cargo, including transhipments from the Mooltan, Loongana, Rotomahana, Winficld, Harold, Houtmnn, Uraga Maru, and Obra

Following are the passengers brought by. the steamer:—Saloon: Mesdames Marshall and child, Harvey and son, Hodgkinson and child, Misses Kins, Sisters of Sacred Heart (2). Messrs Hooke, Mark, Soennergoen, McGill, Hodgkinsou, and 14 steerage Tlie wimmera will sail on Saturday for Melbourne, via southern ports, and on arrival at the Victorian port will go into dock (or survey and overhaul. She will miss one trip, and will not leave Melbourne again for Wellington until the 23rd September
