EMPRESS THEATRE.
Tlie last screening of "Helen's BabieE," a delightful comedy, takes place to-night at the Empress Theatre. For those who like their entertainment of the exciting order, "The Third Commandment" fits the bill. A pretty travel scenic and a good Pat-he Gazette complete the programme.
"CONVICT LYNDON AT LIBERTY."
The Londop Film Company will present on Monday, at the Empress Theatre, a remarkable spy drama, "Convict Lyndon at Liberty." The story deals with the adventures of Neil Lyndon, a brilliant chemist employed by the War Office in high-explosive experiments. Lyndon discovers a new force which gives immense power when exploded. The tremendous value of this becomes-known to the Teuton spies, and they try to discover the formula. The love interest in the play is an outstanding feature. The,chief artists are Charles Rock and Edna Flugarth. It is claimed for "Convict Lyndon at Liberty" that its production forced the War Office to take drastic steps in suppressing the German espionage system, which was undermining every walk in life in Great Britain. The p'ky is galvanic in its action, and while written in a tense key, and with highly exciting situations, it never goes beyond the bounds of probability.
