LODGE MEETINGS
The fortnightly meeting of the Poneke Lodge, U.A.0.D., Petone, was held on Monday, A.D. Bro. Price presiding. Correspondence and general routine business were attended to. Six brothers were declared on the sick list. Bros. Woolford and Townsend were appointed delegates on the Labour Day Carnival Committee. Visitors attended from Horowhenua and Excelsior Lodges. The first meeting of the Royal Arch Chapter's competition for the Poneke Lodge will be held early in November.
