DRYGOODS MANAGERS' ASSOCIATION
On Wednesday, sixteen managers, representing most of Wellington's principal drapery establishments, formed an organisation, having as its object the betterment in general of business feelings between the various managers themselves (business managers, departmental managers, display managers, advertising managers), and toward their employero' interests. Enthusiasm that promises much for the future of this organisation was shown by those present, and it was decided that the association would proceed immediately to make ite objects widely known among all managers employed in drapery and clothing establishments throughout the city and other chief centres. An executive of ten was appointed to report on progress ait the next general meeting, to be held at an early date. Mr. W. H. Cox, business superintendent for C. Smith, Ltd., was elected secretary.
