GRAVE DIFFERENCES
BETWEEN YON TIRPITZ AND IMPERIAL CHANCELLOR THE SUBMARINE POLICY. (Received June 24,, 2.15 p.m.) LONDON, 23vd June. A Berlin message states that on the Lusitaiiia question some German leaders declined the responsibility for the submarine policy. Several of Herr Bethmann Hollweg's supporters approved, whereupon the Deutsche ' Tageszeitung, Admiral Yon Tirpitz's organ, protested, and the paper was suspended. The incident shows grave differences between Admiral Yon Tirpitz and the Imperial Chancellor.
