SHOCKING ACCIDENT
MAN CAUGHT IN MACHINERY. (IT TBLEaitAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) DUNEDIN, This Day. A shocking accidenfc occurred at the Milburn lime and cement works early this morning, a young married man with a family of two being caught in the machinery and terribly injured. He was named James Duffy, aged 35 years, and resided at North-East Valley. He was employed as a greaser at the works, and at 1.50 a.m. went to attend a ball wheel. He had to mount a ladder, and apparently gofc caught and whirled round the spindle with tremendous speed, and must have been killed at once.
