CAMP NOTES
" Tho camp is the best camp we have ever had," says the Minister for Defence. "That is the report I got from the Chief of Staff. Insobriety has almost disappeared, and I am told that the regulation we made forbidding hotelkeepers to supply bottles of liquor to soldiers is having a very good effect. I think the work of the Salvation Army and the Churches in encouraging men to sign pledges is also having some effect. It seems that the men are feeling the responsibility resting upon them more than they did." The Rev. D. Dutton, F.R.G.S., has taken up his duties as camp chaplain.
