STEAMER TORPEDOED
SUNK OFF ILFRACOMBE. (Received March 9, 2.35 p.m.) LONDON, Bth March. The steamer Bengrave, 3840 tons, was torpedoed and sunk off Ilfracombe (on the Devonshire coast) on Sunday. The crew were saved.
