TO REOPEN ON 4th JANUARY TREASURY ORDERS. (By Telegraph— Press Association— Copyright) (Received December 24, 3 p.m.) LONDON, 23rd December." The Stock Exchange opens on the 4th January, The "Treasury orders that the minimum prices fixed during the closure shall be enforced until the end of January, but subject to revision by the committee, with the Tieasury's approval. The committee is also empoweied to fix the minima for shares dealt with on the American market. These are generally the prices ruling on 30th July. All bargains must bo cash, and . no dealings will be allowed in new issues made after 4th January urless with the Treasury's approval. Members will not be allowed to bid openly or deal in securities which have been in the enemy's possession since thte outbreak of the war. All securities must be supported by a declaration that they have remained _ in physical possession in the United Kingdom since the 30th September. Onfy British-born members and clerks will be admitted, or naturalised members and clerks who can prove that they have been denaturalised in the country of origin.
