LAWN TENNIS BROUGHAM HILL CLUB SECURES JUNIOR CUP
On Saturday the Pctone Tennis Club, which has many times this season successfully defended its right to hold the Junior Championship Cup, lost the title to Brougham Sill. The match, which waß played in a drizzling rain, woe extremely exciting, and the suburbanites fought hard to retain the honour. The town team took the cup by four rubbers to two. In the appended results the Brougham Hill players are mentioned first :— Edwards v. Austin: 4-6, i>s, 6-3. Beeves v. Parkinson: 2-6. 5^ Sim v. Duncan : 6-2, 2-6, 4-6. Hamer v.- Baker : 6-4, 0-6, 6-4, Reeves and Sim v, Parkinson and Duncan: 6>4, 2<6, 6«4. Edwards and Hamer v. Austin and Baker: 2-6, 6-3, 6-5.
