SWIMMING THE FLYING SQUADRON

One of the most interesting events of the swimming season, the, 500 -yards flying squadron race—the annual relay event— took place at Thorndon baths on Saturday afternoon. The competitors were teams of live men representing the different local swimming clubs, and the trophy was a cup presented by Messrs. Walker and Hall.
