STORM APPROACHING
o The \veather has been very foggy, with misty rain in many parts of the country. It was very dense about Cook Strait. Tho barometer is falling everywhere to-day, and it is expected that strong north-westerly winds will prevail, changing by west to south in about from twenty-four to thiity six hours. The rain will probably be heavy in the south and in the West Coast districts. Rain is also likely to follow generally. .There is every appearance of a storm approaching westward of New Zealand.
