MANAGERIAL CHANGES

IN THE FULLER-BRKNNAN CIRCUIT. Mr. Will Douglas, the popular general manager of Fuller-Brennan's, Ltd., in New Zealand, and well-known through the interest he has always taken in the welfare" of the firm and his unfailing courtesy to the patrons of Hie Majesty's Theatre, has been appointed general manager for the company in Sydney under Mr. Ben Fuller. He leaves this city about 28th February to make a, tour of the" firm's numerous branches in the Dominion before taking his departure for the other side. Mr. Douglas has been in the employ of the firm longer than any of its other managers. Seven years ago he came over from Melbourne, and wa« appointed leader of the orchestra at the Coliseum, Christchurch. Only twelve months later he was selected for tho position of .manager of Fuller's Pictures, Invercargill, and -was then transferred to Wellington, and made general! films manager for New Zealand, afterwards being promoted to the managemerit of vaudeville with the local managership of the Theatre Royal. Four months later, after the amalgamation of Fuller-Brennan'e, Ltd., he was made 2 manager for New Zealand by Air, John Fuller, jun., which position he has held ever since. Mr. Douglas's rise Hvith the firm has been, very rapid, ac the management has always given him every assistance. Mr. Walter Fuller, at present in Syd-ne-v, who is well-known in New Zealand, will take Mr. Douglas's place as general manager for the Dominion, and Mr. Bamngton Waters, late of The- King's, Dunedin, has been appointed to take up the managership of His Majesty's Theatre. Mr. W. Crome, of the well-known Bell-Crome family of Bellringers, takes over the managership of The King's Theatre, Dunedin.
