BOXER DIES
" KNOCK-OUT " PROVES FATAL. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) (Received January 19, 8.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, 18th January. There has been another boxing fatality at_ Santa Rosa, in California. Chas. Kirkby, a Canadian middle-weight, struck Philip Shinder a blow on the head. Shinder collapsed, and died in the hospital without regaining consciousness. Kirkby has been arrested.
