ATTACK ON CHERIF PASHA
WOULD-BE ASSASSIN A RUSSIAN. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright,) (Received January 19, 9 a.m.j , LONDON, 18th January. Cherif Pasha, chief of the Turkish Radicals, describes Iskander as a Russian named Theykowsky, and adde that Theykowsky had been receiving large sums of money. Talaat Pasha's assailant was Ali Djevat. [Iskander and Buraud Eddin were arrested in Paris in connection with an attack on Cherif, in which the latter's servant was killed. Iskander was Paris agent for the" Committee of Union and Progress.]
