SOUTH ISLAND BRASS BANDS
INVEECARGILL, 25th Feb. A meeting of citizens to-night adopted a, motion by the Mayor affirming the desirability of holding tho ii«xt South Wand Braes Bands' Association contest in Invercargill, probably in October. A strong committee was appointed to make arrangements. The idea is that the programme will be similar to ,thafc of the last contest at I>unedin.
