JOHNSONVILLE TOWN BOARD
At a meeting of the Johnsonville Town Board held last' , evening. Mr. Townhill waa appointed ranger tor the district. An application of the local Rugby Football Club for the use of tho Recreation Ground for the ensiling season was held over till next meeting. An application from two ratepayers for tho remission of the sanitary rate was refused on the ground that the board had no power to make eiemptions, but it was "d'eeidedr!thafc"the''rate J shall Cease at j the' end of- this month.' It was d&ifled l td fence in the water-supply catchment area, and, in conjunction with adjoining owners, to call teiidefß for the work.
