CH ARGE OF CATTLE-STEALING.
GORE, 24th February. Willianl. John* Richards, with • several aliases, yds arrested;, at Gore on Satur* dajTc-li a> charge of stealing "three cattle at Edendale on 17th February, and stealing a bicycle at Waianawa on 3rd January. Accused 1 was brought before Justices of the Peace, and remanded for eight datys. When arrested accused denied cattle-stealing, but sui&equently admitted it. When.; searched a / fivechambered loaded revolver was found on accusedj and a number of cartridges.
