DASHED TO PIECES ' . a AN INVENTOR'S AWFUL FATE. By Telegraph.— Pre«B Association, -Copyright. (Received September 23, 2.30 p.m.) BERLIN, 22nd September,. Herr Bittner, an inventor, ascended over the Pillar of Victory to test a new parachute device. The parachute failed to act, and the unfortunate man was dashed to pieces. A kinematograph operator was present to record the descent, but photographed the tragedy.
