LECTURE BY PROFESSOR HUNTER

The lecture on "Ilhisions," given in the Unitarian Free Church by Professor T. A. Hunter, M.A., of Victoria College, was of an instructive and interesting character. The subject was handled mush ably, and Profccsor Hunter, who maintained the interest of his audience from start to finish, was warmly thanked for his lecture. The chair was occupied by tho Rev. W. Jellie, B.A. a boo;n to rheumatics. Rheumo positively contradicts the old idea that Rheumatism cannot be cured. It has succeeded in effecting permanent relief where hundrods > of other alleged cure? have failed. . Liniments, plabters, and embrocations afford but temporary relief at best, for rheumatism, gout, soiatiea, or Lumbago is caused by the preI seuce of uric acid in tho blood. This j must bo eliminated from the system bei fore a complete euro can bo effected. Rheumo neutralises and expels this uric acid, and consequently, immediately it is taken, the pains cease. Mr. W. James, proprietor Terminus Hotel, Chrislchurch, tells his experience: — , "I very greatly from Rhou- ] inatic Gout for quito fourteen yeari, and tried almost every remedy suggested by my friends and medical practitioners, but with very littlo relief. About threo years ago I was strongly advised to try Rhoumo. I did, so, and with tho greatest satisfaction. • I htivo a littlo twinge now and theu, but tt Ooso or two of Rheumo puts aid right at onto."'
