TO TUB EDITOR. Sir,— ln your report of the meeting of shareholders of the Opera Houwj Company it is slated that the auditor, in. his report, fetvid "there *wm'e no copies of dividend warrants in the office." As 1 have been asked by several jwrsona what this means, may t explain that tho printed *tiitement is in error. 1 made no reference- to "copies,"' but reported thai/ no vuuchcrß (or receipts) for , the payment of. dividends hud been produced. May I add that my report had no serious import, und woula pvobtibly have passed .without mucn! comment, but it seems io have come in handy for the use of <somo shareholders who were complaining (riijhlly or wrongly) of certain ulleged irregularities. — I am, etc., WM..
