PROMOTIONS AND CHANGES. The following promotions v^ero gazetted last night: Captain H. H. Browne, New Zealand Staff Corps, to be major; Captain H. E. Pilkingfcori, Royal New Zealand Artillery, to ho major; Captain 11 . R. Potter, New Zealand Staff Corps, to be major; Captain M. M. Gard'nor,- Royal New Zealand ' Artillery; to be major; Captain G.. S. .Richardson; New Zealand Staff Corps, to be major; Lieutenant' J. A. Wallingford, New Zealand Staff Corps, to bo temporary captain whilst employed as an area, group officer. The following changes are also gazetted : — I New Zealand Field Artillery. — Second Lieutenant G. E. Archey, from the unattached list (b) to be' second New Zealand Garrison Artillery.*-* Lieutenant J. H. Crawford to be captain, to complete establishment; Lieutenant C. B. 'Brereton is" transferred to the 12th (Nelson) Regiment ; 2nd Lieutenant W. H. Johnson, is absorbed into the establishment, vice M'Kellar, transferred. New Zealand Railways Corps.— Second Lieutenant A. S. Henderson to be lieutenant. sfch Regiment (Wellington Riflea). — Lieutenant G. E. Simeon is transferred to the. unattached list (b) for service with the Senior Cadete; Mr. L. Hitchmg« to be 2nd lieutenant, supernumerary to the establishment. Twelfth (Nelson) , Regiment.—Lieutenant C. B. Brereton, from the New Zealand Garrison Artillery, to be lieu tenant under the provisions of paragraph 125, General Regulation*, 1911. The Colonial Auxiliary Forces Longservice Medal is awarded to Colonel James Allen, Now Zealand Garrison Artillery, for twenty years' service. - New Zealand Signal Corps.— Sergeant J. C. M'Donald to be 2nd lieutenant, supernumerary to the establishment. New Zealand M«dical Corps; — Captain C' E. Bucknill, from the Reserve of Officers, to be captain; Mr. C. E. Howden, M.R.C.S., to be lieutenant.
