BAD SEASON FOR BUSH BURNS
[DV TJELEGEAFH— SPECIAL TO THE POST.] AUCKLAND, This Day. All chances of burning bush in the King Country have vanished for this season. On Monday night heavy rain set in and continued all the following day. During the fine weather a numher took the opportunity of setting fire to their bush. Some were succeesf ul and others were not. However, a 1 largo area remains unburned and this will mean a serious loss to the King Country this year. It is generally- understood that a large area of bush will be felled during the coming whiter.
