I r The annual match between the WelI lington and Auckland Post and Telegraph representatives was played at Newtown Park yesterday afternoon, Auckland winning by 13 points to 3. A number of regular players were included in each team, and some excellent play resulted, tfor the winners Sullivan, B. O'Brien, and Little scored tries, two being converted by Little. Mar&hall kicked a penalty goel for Wellington. Mr. Simpison^was referee. In _ the evening the visitors were entertained ,at a smoke concert at Godber's Room* in Courfcenay-place. Mr. J. Alexander presided o^ei- an attendance of 120. Toasta honoured were "The De-. partments," "Post and Telegraph Association,'' "The Visitors," and "Willington Poet and Telegraph Representatives." The musical programme wa3 contributed to by Messrs. Meredith, C. Menzies, Sullivan. Ciai'kson, J. Carr, C. Gamble, and Porteous.
