AUCKLAND, 11th September. r &t the Supreme Court to-«J*y, before Mr. Justice Edwards and a x jury of twelve, Alexander M'lntyre, charged with the theft of a case of tobacco, valued at £36, ia company with Joseph, Ehrman, was retried. Eight days ago the jtfry disagreed when M'lntyre was tried before Mr. Justice Chapman, and the retrial was jtiecessary. The jury again disagreed, and another retrial wa« ordered to take place next session.
