THE LATE FATHER M'NAMARA FUNERAL CEREMONY.
Tho funeral of the late Very R*v. Father M'Namara took place to-day. A solemn Requiem Mass Was celebrated in St. Mary of the Angels Church, Boul-cott-fitreefc, this morning by the Very Rev. Father Regnault, S.M.j Provincial, assisted by the Very Rev. Dean M Kenna as deacon, Venerable Archdeacon Devoy as sub-dea<son, and the Rev. Father Hurley. In the ' sanctuary was His Grace Archbishop Redwood, attended by the Very Rev. Dean Smyth and the Very Rev. Father O'Shea, V.G. The church wa* crowded Among the visiting clergy were tile Ve>y Rev. Father Tubman,, of Timarn, the Rev. Fathers K<*>gh (Hastings), Power (Hawera), Cognet (Otaki), Botve (Ca,rterton), T, M'Kiemna. (Pahiatua), K/etty (Foxton), Holley (Wanganui), Maples (Pebone), Lano (Hntt), Daly (Upper Hutt), Murray and Creagh (Redemptorist Fabhers), and James Murray. The mass was suhg by bhe students and priests of St. Patrick's College under the direction, of the Very Rev. Dr. Kennedy. Father Shaefer presided at the organ. Th^ Archbishop preached the funeral sermon and officiated at tho graveside. Sir Joseph Ward was present at the Macs.
