i ? I The report of the Napier Gas Co. for' the year ended 31st December is to hand. An interim dividend was paid on 30th Jane last; there remaintiia balance of profit of £7355 0s Bd, and it is recommended that a further dividend amounting to £5533 17s 6d be paid and the balance of £1821 3s 2d be carried forwaixl. The company's reserve fund amounts to £21,500 (invested in plant). Messrs. J. C. M'Vay and R. D. Sweetapplei, retiring directors, being eligible, offer themselves for re-election.
