During the 'sitting of the Royal Commission which is investigating Chinese immigration, Mr. Josexjh Martin, a member of the British House of Commons, charged the Liberal Party throughout British Columbia with wholesale corruption. He alleged that the Prime Minister (Sir Wilfrid Laurjei") was primarily blameworthy for the "graft" which permeated every department of the Federal Government. Conflicting evidence was given as to whether the Hon. William Templeman, Dominion Minister for Inland Revenue and Mines, stated confidentially that he desired the Royal Commission on Immigration to 'be stopped. Mr. Templeman is to bo summoned to give evidence on the point.
