THIRTY-FIFTH ANNUAL REPORT. I'BY TELEGEAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.) DUNEDIN, 2nd December. The thirty-fifth annual report of the Union Steam Ship Company states that, aftei 1 making provision for depreciation of plant, the net profit fof the year (including interest on investments and transfer fees) amounted to £75.086. Adding the balance from last year (£14,629) the total is £89,818. After deducting interest on debentures, interim dividend, and auditors' fees, there is left £51,307. The directors recommend the payment of a dividend at the rate of 9£d per share on 100,000 shares for the six months ended ■ 30th September, making a total of Is 7d per share for the year. This will absorb £31,666, leaving £19,640 to be carried forward. The directora also recommend that a bonus of 2^d per share be paid out of insurance fund. This will absorb £8333, leaving £441,463 to the credit of tho fund.
