WORK OF REORGANISATION. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. LONDON, 4th April. Rear-Admiral H. Williams will succeed Rear-Admiral Sir Douglas Gamble (who resigned for health reasons) in reorganising the Turkish navy. Rear-Admiral Gamble was some time ago lent to the Otloman Government to superintend the reorganisation of the Turkish fleet. He is reported to have done excollent work. However, owing to ill-health he had to resign. His successor was gazetted a rear-admiral in 1908. Tho rehabilitation of the fleet is expected to be completed within eight years, at. an annual expenditure of £'1500,000. It v,aa announced yesterday that Turkey has decided to send a hundred naval oitieers to England for training.
