BENEVOLENT TRUSTEES.

♦ The Trustees of the Benevolent Institution met tlii> atiernoon. Present : Mr. Short (in tli«> <lnih), l{e\\ W. A. Evan.-, and Mim Richmond. The inmates in the Ohiio Homo at date are 70 men and 29 women. In the intermediate ward there are 14 men — a, reduction of five on lui>t week. A letter wan received from the Hos pita* and Charitable Aid Board asking the trustees to carry on the business of the Ohiro Home and Brnevolent Institution as heretofore until other definite arrangements aro made for the future management of the institution. The secretary of the tiustees was instructed to inform the board that the trustees agreed to act as suggested.
