THE WEATHERS VAGARIES.
There were some remarkable contrasts in New Zealand's weather thin morning: A southerly was busy at the extreme ends, theie was rain at Invercargill, squalls at Mauukau heads, and pasaing showers at Kawhia. From Taupo and Kast Cape right down to Port Chalmers, the *kies were either clear blue or fleeced with summery clouds, and the air iv all this zone was as agreeable as the Wellington sample. It is announced officially that tool and changeable conditions will probably be followed by fair weather everywhere.
