The extension of the P. and O. service to New Zealand lias proved so satisfactory that the company hat? decided to resume next reason for s-ix months insteid of three. Advices wero received from the London office to-day giving additional information in the cable published on the 29th. Six steamers of the "M" class are to be employed. The first to call at New Zealand will bo the Mongolia, which, will anive at Melbourne on 14th November. Thereafter a steamer will be despatched every four weeks and the extended service will be concluded by tho Mooltan leaving London on 2nd February.
