Sir William Lyne's Federal election manifesto bitterly attacks the Fusion Government and its policy, and announces that while Sir William intends to sit on the Labour crossbenches, he does not intend to directly tom the Labour Party. Sir William Lyne, speaking at Henty last week, declared he would have nothing to do with the Fusion Government. Ho had no respect for Mr. Deakin or Mr. Cook ; neither woukl he offer hiibself as an Independent. He would tkerefore sit with the Labour Party. The declaration (remarked the Sydney Telegraph) will cxercifee great influence on the election, as the farming intettota are strongly opposed to the Labour- Party.
