HIBERNIAN SOCIETY.

TRIENNIAL MOVABLE MEETING. The triennial movable meeting of tho Hibernian Australasian Catholic Benefit Society will commence at St. Patrick's Hall, Boulcott-street, to-morrow morning. District President P. J. Neberney, of Auckland, will preside, and there will be come sixty delegates present from the Unity-eight branches in the Dominion, representing about 3500 members The delegates will be welcomed to-night at a smoke concert in the Gtrildford-terrace Schoolroom, presided over by Bro. J. W. CaJlaghan (president of the St. PaXrick's Branch^ and chairman of the Reception Committee. On Thursday evening tho visiting delegates will be entertained at a banquet at the Municipal Concert Hall, and on Saturday they, will be taken for a drive through the Hutt Valley. On Sunday morning there will be a general communion at St. Mary of the Angels, Boulcott-street, followed by a Communion breakfast at Carroll's, and in the afternoon the delegates will be taken on a visit to Mother Aubert's Homo and the Sacred Heart Convent. One of the most important subjects to be discussed at the conference is that of the proposed removal of the headquarters ftom Auckland to Wellington. A motion to that effect will be moved by the Haw era branch. It has been moved and defeated at the three previous conferences. Since then the Christchurch branch has decided to form a South Island district, and the St. Patrick's branch, Wellington, has resolved in favour of forming a central district at this end of the North Island.
