For the theft of a pair of trousers from a local tailoring ebtaWishraent on Thursday, a man named John MacKay was sentenced to a month's imprisonment. . Mr. R. J. Chapman left here on Thursday on a short holiday visit to Sydney. The trustees of the local Methodist Church have a credit balance of about £20, as a result of help giren the trust by the recent bazaar. A committee has been s.et up to bring forward a report to the quarterly meeting on Thursday next couierning a thange of residence for the superintendent minister.
