PUBLIC LIBRARIES. A CONFERENCE.
[B7 TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, This Day. The first conference of representatives of public libraries of New Zealand open, ed this morning. It was resolved to form a Libraries' Association of New Zealand. The Mayor of Dunedin officially welcomed the delegates. Papers were read by Mr. C. Wilson, Chief Parliamentarian Librarian, and Dr. Frengley.
