INTER-COLLEGE TOURNAMENT.
[BY TELEGRAPH — PEESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Visiting students from Auckland, Wellington, and Dunedin were welcomed at Canterbury College this morning by Professor Gabbatt, chairman of the Professorial Board, and Mr. J. C. Adams on bphalf of the Board of Governors. The intev-colleg? tournament commenced on the Avonside courts with the first stages of the tennis contests. The tourname v, will bo continued to-night with the boxing championships, on Monday with athletic spoits and the debating contest, and on Tuesday with tho tennis finals and the university ball.
