The Auckland League haß been informed by Mr. D. G. Fraser that it was deem- | ed impossible to organise a team in Wellington to meet the Englishmen. It uv considered that, although a Wellington' 1 ' team is impossible, arrangements will probably be made for a New Zealand team to meet the visitors, most 'ikely on the Basin Reserve.
