Commenting on tiie value to the Government at the present moment of such visits to England as those of Lord Grey (Governor-General of Canada) and Lord Selborne (High, Commissioner for South Africa), The Times expresses the hope that such visits will become the practice, especially in the case of the more distant dominions like Australia. The Governors-General (says The Times) are in a position to t help the Home Government to appreciate colonial standpoints.
